Considerations

• Followup ultrasound generally recommended in 2-3 menstrual cycles as most are benign. Patients often scheduled in first 10 days of cycle to limit occurrence of new lesion. Ultrasound has high accuracy at deterimining cause. Pregnancy test-?ectopic
• if lesion decreasing the continued followup by ultrasound. If persists or enlarging, then pelvic MRI and consider gyn surgical consult.
