C spine xray series
- Strengths
- useful in trauma. Can provide overview of disease, but often very non-specific and difficult to pinpoint site of cause of symptoms. MRI most helpful in chronic symptoms or neurologic signs.
- Limitations
- depending on clinical suspicion, CT spine may be more appropriate in acute trauma.
