- Strengths
- Exam tailored to small bowel. GI blood loss, suspected or known lesion. Assessment for extent of inflammatory bowel dz involvment (Chron's).
- Limitations
- There are MR enterography options too.
- Contraindications
- 1) Allergy to contrast, but we will premedicate patient as necessary; 2) IV contrast will be dose-adjusted dependent upon creatinine clearance.
