MRI cerebral aneurysm
- Strengths
- performed WITHOUT gadolinium. Good screening study for aneurysm.
- Limitations
- CTA can be better to delineate exact size and morphology (neck diameter, leak or subtle buldging contour, etc) and very helpful in preoperative or followup in postoperative patient.
- Contraindications
- Standard MR questionaire as to contraindicated implanted devices, surgery, etc.
