- Strengths
- 1) Lung nodule detection/reassessment of growth; Memorialcare has lung CAD to automatically assist in detecting nodules and measuring their volume. Often part of lung cancer screening program; 2) Assessment of interstitial disease -high resolution CT
- Limitations
- If indication is for lung mass, effusion, adenopathy or most others, prefer IV contrast study.
