- $125 global fee. Very low radiation dose similar to diagnostic mammogram. Patient selection: 50-75 years old; >30 pack year smoking(or >20 packyears with addl' risk factor); quit less than 15 years ago or still smoking. NLST/ NCCN guidelines followed.
- Limitations
- Specifically designed to screen for early lung cancer by detected small lung nodules with very low radiation dose to the patient. Study will NOT diagnostically evaluate the mediastinum, heart, vascular structures or adjacent soft tissues.
