- Strengths
- Both SMMC and OCMMC have specific software and access to 3D reconstruction for complete evaluation. Study usually requires special radiologist attention for protocol. Please consult radiologist.
- Limitations
- Specialized and time intensive, but excellent. For general cardiac evaluation, consider other modalities and tests.
- Contraindications
- 1) Standard MR questionaire as to contraindicated implanted devices, surgery, etc.; 2) Gadolinium will be dose-adjusted dependent upon creatinine clearance. It will not be given with CrCl <30 due to risk of NSF.
