- Strengths
- will require fluoroscopic injection of dilute gadolinium. Specify joint. Good for labral or capsular shoulder injury or joint instability. TFC tears of wrist.
- Limitations
- Specialized evaluation more common for shoulders, wrists or hips. Standard MRI better for first line imaging. Arthrography much less common for elbow, knee or ankle.

- Standard MR questionaire as to contraindicated implanted devices, surgery, etc.
