- Generally will need INR<=1.5 and platelets >50K. On site radiology nurse support. Specify location, laterality and pertinent history. We generally require films prior to procedure for planning purposes. Very low complication and high diagnostic rate.

- Contraindications
- Coagulopathy. Some anticoagulants must be held for procedure: coumadin held until INR<=1.5; lovenox held 1 dose or 12 hours prior to procedure; plavix and full dose aspirin held 5 days; Ticlid held for 7 days.
