- Strengths
- Evaluate incidental adrenal lesion. Characterize for benign or malignant features. Will need IV contrast.
- Limitations
- For followup of likely benign nodule, may only need "standard" CT abdomen with or without contrast
- Contraindications
- 1) Allergy to contrast, but we will premedicate patient as necessary; 2) IV contrast will be dose-adjusted dependent upon creatinine clearance.
