- limited application. Does not cover pelvis. Lack of IV contrast does not fully assess viscera. Perhaps for followup of known, previously assessed lesions or as continuation of chest abnormalities extending into the abdomen.

- Does not include the pelvis. Most of the time pelvis should be included in the CT order as peritoneal contents are then fully assessed.
